Bookkeeping Team Lead

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Team Lead with strong leadership experience, deep accounting knowledge, and the drive to take ownership of outcomes. You’ll be expected to manage a team, ensure accurate financial reporting, and help us continue to scale with excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee bookkeeping and accounting operations for multiple client accounts (primarily eCommerce and fitness businesses)
Review and ensure accuracy in Balance Sheets, P&Ls, reconciliations, and categorization
Manage and mentor a team of bookkeepers and Client Success Managers (CSMs)
Provide quality control (QC) on team deliverables before they reach the client
Maintain accountability for deadlines and performance across the team
Help enforce standard operating procedures and lead weekly check-ins
Occasionally assist with client files as the team continues to grow
Must-Have Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
Expert-level experience with QuickBooks Online
Strong grasp of all aspects of the Balance Sheet (not just P&L)
Prior management or team leadership experience
High personal accountability and follow-through without needing micromanagement
