EPEE Inc. — Contract Bookkeeper / Staff Accountant (Remote, US)
EPEE Inc. is a $2.5 million industrial services company with two divisions — tank refurbishment and delivery, and industrial coating — owned by a family office. We need an experienced full-charge bookkeeper on an hourly contract to take over our QuickBooks Online books.
The role covers the whole set: invoicing and receivables, payables, the income statement, the balance sheet, monthly close, and the analysis behind it — 13-week cash forecasting, margin and expense trending by division, job costing.
One thing to know up front. We are on a cash basis with no A/R, A/P, inventory or depreciation, and invoicing is not yet run through QuickBooks. The first two to four months are a cleanup: convert to accrual, stand up invoicing, and rebuild the balance sheet. Our outside CPA handles the opening balances.
Fully remote, anywhere in the US. $60–$70 per hour, 1099, invoiced monthly. Cleanup: 60–80 hours a month, capped at 80, for two to four months. Ongoing: 25–35 hours a month, capped at 40.
You: five or more years full-charge, hands-on cash-to-accrual or cleanup experience, real QuickBooks Online depth, comfort owning a balance sheet, and strong Excel.
