I have a new payroll client that is a non-profit youth soccer club. They are wondering if a parent wants to volunteer as a coach, in exchange for a reduction in their child's fees, is that allowed? All the reading I've done seems to indicate that would be considered compensation and change them from a volunteer to an employee. Thoughts?
