Hello all,
I volunteer for a non-profit. We have 4 "sub" members that are non profit. We did donations to the four clubs, but one of them got cancelled by the state board of their organization due to lack of leaders. They want to send the unused portion of the money back to our organization instead of turning it over to the state org they belong to. Do I record this as a donation to our org from theirs or a refund of unused donation? I'm not comfortable with putting it as a return as it should go to their state chapter. HELP?????
