Hello, all. First time Forum user, here. Hope everyone is staying healthy and sane amid coronavirus craziness. My company pays half the cost of our employee's health insurance, and I withhold the employee share from paychecks. Being under a shelter-in-place order and our business being deemed non-essential, we've had to close our doors, and were forced to furlough most of my coworkers. Their paychecks are therefore not big enough for me to deduct their entire withholding amounts. This is likely to be the case next pay period as well. I assume I'll have to catch up with them in future payrolls, but I was wondering if there are any issues I should be mindful of in the meantime. What if a worker doesn't return, for example, and they leave the company owing for premiums?

Any thoughts or advice are welcome. Thanks.
