Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare weekly/monthly balance sheets, income statements, and budget vs. actual reports.
Cash Flow & Budget Management: Monitor and manage client budgets and cash flow.
Payroll Processing: Set up, schedule, and manage payroll for clients.
Reconciliation & Data Entry: Reconcile bank statements and credit/debit cards; maintain accurate financial records.
Tax & Compliance: Handle 1099 preparation, sales tax filing, and e-commerce financial support.
Client Communication: Deliver clear, timely financial insights through weekly/monthly reports and custom client requests.
Qualifications:
Experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting, with QuickBooks Online proficiency preferred. We are also looking for Bookkeepers with experience in Xero, Peachtree/Sage, and Buildum.
Familiarity with payroll, cash flow management, and financial reconciliation.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred, but not required).
Must be comfortable with remote collaboration tools like Zoom, email, and phone.
