The position is Office Manager/Full Charge Bookkeeper. This is an in-office Monday – Friday position. No remote. (Those without 5-10 years of consistent experience and are not extremely comfortable with Desktop Quickbooks will not be considered.)
BOOKKEEPING:
– QUICKBOOKS (Desktop): MUST HAVE 5-10 YEARS OF CONSISTENT EXPERIENCE AND BE EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE WTH DESKTOP QUICKBOOKS.
– Manage all aspects of the company’s financial records and transactions
– Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
– Perform general ledger accounting and maintain accurate records of all financial activities
– Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or issues
– Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
– Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
– Complete journal entries and reconcile accounts as needed
– Utilize Sage or other accounting software to manage financial data effectively
– Provide support for audits and assist with the preparation of audit schedules
– Stay updated on technical accounting standards and implement changes as necessary
– Additional tasks as assigned
OFFICE MANAGER: MUST KNOW MICROSOFT TEAMS
– Prepare schedules for entire company
– Review upcoming events and add pertinent information as needed (pre-production review)
– Ordering supplies
– Answering phone
– Handling customer calls & customer service
– Managing warehouse productivity: Plan vs Actual
– Making travel arrangements
– Be a part of the HR management team
– Follow up on reviews & thank you notes
– Understand digital interfaces in accounting
– Calling clients in support of Ampa as needed
– May be asked to manage bookkeeping for Wedding Experience Bridal Show for Ampa
– Additional tasks as needed
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
– 5 – 10 YEARS CONSISTENT EXPERIENCE IN QUICKBOOKS (DESKTOP)
– Proven experience in corporate accounting or full charge bookkeeping roles
– Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and practices
– Proficiency in using Sage or similar accounting software
– Familiarity with tax regulations and experience in preparing tax returns
– Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis effectively
– Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
– Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
– Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
– Proficient in 10-key typing for efficient data entry
COLLEGE DEGREE REQUIRED
Salary: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour
If you do not want the whole package:
– PT BOOKKEEPER IS AN OPTION
– PT OFFICE MANAGER IS AN OPTION, BUT MUST KNOW MICROSOFT TEAMS: $16/hr -$20/hr.
Schedule:
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN OFFICE BETWEEN 8:30am – 5:30PM Monday to Friday
