My name is Miglena, and I live in Prospect, KY near Louisville. I was born and raised in Bulgaria, where I graduated from a specialized accounting high school and later earned a degree in Economics.

My early career included work in both the private sector and local government, where I managed the full scope of bookkeeping—accounts receivable/payable, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial reporting.

In 2002, my family immigrated to the U.S. Adjusting to a new culture and language was a challenge, but I never lost sight of my passion for accounting.

I invested in professional growth, becoming a Certified Bookkeeper (AIPB), a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and earning my Enrolled Agent license.

For the past 5 years, I have worked with QuickBooks Live, helping small business owners manage their books and keep their finances organized.

While the experience has been rewarding, I am seeking a part-time, remote bookkeeping position with a smaller company where I can make a more personal impact.
