Under the general direction of the Staff Accountant and Finance Director, the Bookkeeper is responsible for all bookkeeping functions, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards. While primarily supervised by the Finance Director, the Bookkeeper will also manage GME (Graduate Medical Education) administrative tasks, reporting to the Finance Director and deferring to the GME Director and/or the GME Program Manager for guidance as needed. This structure promotes effective collaboration while maintaining clear reporting lines to the Finance Director.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
BOOKKEEPER: Under general direction and supervision by the Staff Accountant; responsible for maintaining the accounting records for the company by accurately recording the day-to-day financial transactions of the company and accurately issuing pay to employees by calculating earnings and deductions in accordance with established practices and guidelines.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANCE – GME: Under the guidance of the GME Operations Director and GME Program Manager, oversee the administrative tasks for visiting residents from outside entities into the HRP training hospitals, including, but not limited to, processing agreements, onboarding requirements, profile setup, schedules, and dashboard. Outside entities may include, but are not limited to, UCSF, UCLA, JHU, Boston U, Mt Sinai, Yale U, and TAMC.
