What are the features of salesforce vlocity?

Any ADP set up people available?

Looking for someone to help the last of the set up for GL imports. Our wonderful HR manager didn't have much guidance and they began this before I was working at this company. We need just a couple pay codes or items to match just 5 GL codes and check the rest to see that it looks like what we want. We will be onboarding additional franchise locations into their own company codes in ADP so there would be future work to get set up correctly.

We've gone the entire 4th quarter plus January with no GL imports, in our main company there are so many classes it would take far too much time to do it manually every payroll. I am catching up far too much from the previous accountant (lack of one) to learn ADP at this time of year.

If someone knew ADP I would think including some consulting to see what we want and what we have, this could be completed in less than a day +/-. This company has been wonderful to work for and I can't fault them for not doing better at set up as they had no guidance other than ADP who dropped the ball completely on the GL import.

1099-MISC software

1099-MISC season is just around the corner, and I am considering buying software this year to make it easier. In the past I got the free forms that the IRS sends out, but QBDT and QBO don’t print out on them correctly. Does anyone know an inexpensive program that will do this for me? I have looked up options on-line and RealBusiness Solutions – W2 Mate, Track1099 and Yearli all look like possibilities. Has anyone else used any of these? I only do about 30 a years, with all my companies combined. Thanks!

ACS bank reconciliations

Hi, All,

Recently took on a new client, a church, which uses ACS. The previous bookkeeper was very old school, and even though she entered transactions into ACS, she *never* reconciled in the software, but only with paper and pencil, since 2014.

Does anyone know if there is a way to reconcile all that backlog in the system without messing up previous years' books, and without having to pull each months statement from her file cabinet?

Any advice or suggestions very welcome!

Verisave credit card merchant auditing

Has any of you retained the services of Verisave (www.verisave.com) to audit your clients' (or, for that matter, your own) merchant credit card statements?

If so, was your experience generally positive? Do you feel that their services realized significant savings?

If you've used a similar service, I'd still be interested in what your experience was like.
