I knew nothing about payroll. I did both payroll I & II. Now I have a better understanding of the basics. Doing the word problems in the quizzes helped a lot. I felt the time I spent was worth it and the price is reasonable. The final tests were challenging. They are quick to grade and return your results and you get a certificate of achievement.

There were areas I found confusing and wished I could have received some support from AIPB. Also, NOT knowing which questions I missed on the Final Exam left me unable to further study and master those areas. It would be very helpful to know what area(s) needs more studying/mastering.

The payroll course was very thorough covering many of the federal regulations, requirements and restrictions. It was a great refresher course on knowledge that an accounting professional should already have.

Mastering Payroll book makes the payroll issues simple and easy to understand. the subject itself has so many information that are closely related and sometimes difficult to distinguish one from another. However book if gone through it many times enough is sufficient to pass the exam
